Improved Production Racing Association of South Australia
Improved Production Racing is best described as the largest and most diverse amateur circuit racing category in Australia. We have clubs in each state and race at all the major racetracks across the country (in SA its Mallala and The Bend Motorsport Park).
You might be looking at starting out racing, or moving up from another category. IPRA offers freedom of choice of car, and its level of performance, no matter where you race on the grid, you will have someone to compete with.

What Is Improved Production Car Racing?
Improved Production Car racing is a class of car racing that was originally based on the road registered category.
Competitors use vehicles that have been mass-produced and available to the public in Australia. We have some freedoms in regard to modifications, but spectators can identify the cars on the track with those in the car park.
It’s the only class where you can see fours, sixes, eights, turbos, rotarys, old cars and new racing together.
